WLN Corporate Focus Group Meeting

On Wednesday 6th September, the WLN Corporate M&A Focus Group met for a virtual meeting. Chair of the group, Sjef Bartels, was joined by Jordi de Pijper, Carlo Gurioli, Jackie Wu, Sebastiaan Meeuwens, Nick Bogdash, Harold Ferreira, Thomas Paoletti, and Fauzia Khan.
We started today's call by welcoming new members to the group, Thomas Paoletti and Fauzia Khan, from WLN's new member firm Paoletti Legal Consultants, based in UAE. It was excellent to have Thomas and Fauzia's perspectives in our discussions.
The group are currently collaborating on a project on Regulations of Foreign Direct Investments, so this was a key part of our discussion today, followed by interesting updates from the group about recent corporate law news from their jurisdictions.
